January 10, 2020 – Allentown, PA – Rezolut Medical Imaging, LLC (“RMI”), a high-growth medical imaging business and portfolio company of Sunny River Management (“SRM”), has acquired Open MRI & Allentown Diagnostic Imaging dba Open MRI of Allentown (“Open MRI”). Open MRI is a multi-modality medical imaging center proudly serving the Greater Lehigh Valley. This is RMI’s first completed acquisition for 2020.

Since the company’s founding in 1998, Open MRI has grown to offer Ultrasound, X-ray, and CT imaging. After expanding its facility in 2016, Open MRI upgraded to an ultra-low dose system that offers 60-70% less radiation than other systems, recognizing the need for exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting.

Open MRI’s highest priority is its patients. Patients, payors, and physicians should expect the same unwavering commitment to customer service they have come to expect over the years. Joe Galazio, CEO of Open MRI, will remain with the business as Center Director to oversee continued growth under the new ownership.
