Leveraging the power of AI (Artificial Intelligence), Rezolut proudly offers SecondReadAI™, a computer-based artificial intelligence tool that reviews and analyzes your breasts in a way that a human cannot. It looks at the images pixel by pixel and can detect suspicious breast tissue that might be obscured by dense tissue or that is too small for the human eye to detect. Consider adding SecondReadAIwith your next mammogram; after all, you’re worth it.

With our state-of-the-art facilities, you can rely on us to provide dependable and efficient mammogram services.

At rezolut, we are early detection champions for breast cancer.

A mammogram uses a low-dose X-Ray system to examine the breasts. The consensus among medical experts is that early diagnosis, typically facilitated by mammograms, is crucial for successful treatment of breast cancer. Screening mammography is pivotal in the early detection of breast cancers as it can reveal breast changes up to two years before they can be felt by the patient or detected by a physician.

Debates over the frequency of breast cancer screenings have increased in recent years. However, we adhere to the guidelines of the American College of Radiology (ACR) regarding breast cancer screenings and advise all women to undergo a baseline mammogram at age 35, followed by annual breast cancer screenings starting at age 40.

Significant risk factors should be taken into account when considering breast health and breast cancer screening.

  • Being female

  • Aging

  • Dense breast tissue

  • Increased weight after menopause

  • Family history of breast cancer

Doctors use various breast cancer risk assessment tools to evaluate a woman’s lifetime risk of developing breast cancer based on factors such as age, history of childbirth, or family history.

At Rezolut, we use the Tyrer-Cuzick model (version 8), which incorporates breast density into the equation when determining the risk of developing breast cancer over a ten-year period. To learn more, visit the online Tyrer-Cuzick Risk Evaluation Tool.

Have concerns? talk with your provider regularly about your breast health.

We encourage you to initiate a conversation about breast health with both your primary care provider and your OB/GYN from the outset of your patient relationship. Sharing any family history of breast cancer as early as possible is crucial, and it's equally important to reach out to your provider if you notice any changes in your breasts at any time. Since you possess intimate knowledge of your family history, lifestyle, and body, you are your own best healthcare advocate. If you are aware of multiple risk factors, it's advisable to inquire about mammograms and breast screening; don't assume your provider will automatically provide this information.

Furthermore, if you have dense breast tissue, it's essential to discuss routine ultrasound screenings with your doctor along with your annual mammogram. For women with dense breasts and certain risk factors, breast ultrasound serves as an additional tool for breast cancer screening. When combined with a mammogram, these two scans offer radiologists a more comprehensive view of the breast for disease diagnosis. Unlike mammograms, ultrasounds use no radiation, making them particularly important for some patients, especially women of childbearing age. If you have questions regarding dense breasts or need further information, please visit the Women’s Imaging section of our website.

When deciding where you will go for breast imaging, it’s important that you find an imaging center that is:

  • Using only 3D mammography

  • A nationally accredited Breast Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology

  • Committed to same-day, in-person, or next-day results

  • Is close to work or home

At Rezolut, we understand the importance of early detection of breast cancer. We offer cutting-edge 3D mammography services that provide detailed, precise images of the breast tissue. Our advanced technology enables our highly skilled radiologists to detect even the slightest abnormalities, increasing the chances of early diagnosis and successful treatment. Whether you require routine mammogram imaging or further diagnostic imaging, our team is here to provide personalized care tailored to your needs.
In most cases, we offer same-week results for screening and diagnostic mammograms and understand how important it is for you to know the outcome of your breast imaging as quickly as possible.

With multiple locations near you, we are easily accessible in the communities we serve, and when needed, we are able to perform ultrasounds and/or bone density screenings during the same appointment (please ask for this when scheduling).

What you should know before your breast imaging study

Upon your arrival for your breast imaging appointment, it is important that you bring your script with you. If you do not have your script, please contact the provider who ordered your imaging to ensure one can be faxed to our imaging center before your appointment.

During your examination, your technologist will position you, compress your breasts, and capture images from various angles. The technologist will review the images of your breasts at the computer workstation to ensure that high-quality images have been obtained for assessment. After your study, our radiologist will examine the images and forward a copy of your results to the provider who ordered your breast imaging. If further testing is necessary, we will try to accommodate it during your scheduled appointment.

We establish the benchmark for compassionate and accurate care in mammogram imaging. Understanding that undergoing a mammogram can be a sensitive experience, our empathetic technologists prioritize your comfort throughout the process. Our committed staff works closely with our skilled radiologists to deliver precise and prompt results, ensuring you receive the care and attention you deserve.
